2.5 Assemble the necessary testing equipment and supplies

CRYOGENIC TEST SETUP

The test assembly consisted of a pressure source cylinder, bleed valves, a cascade cylinder, the test cylinder itself, a protective insulated test chamber, and all of the necessary tubing and fittings. A protective chamber was built to channel the explosive energy that could result if the test cylinder or the cascade cylinder were to fail. Spray in place foam was used to insulate the test and cascade cylinders in the assembly. Liquid nitrogen doers were also secured.
